Exciting Matchups Ahead: Discover Pepperdine Women’s Basketball 2025-26 Non-Conference Schedule!

Pepperdine women’s basketball is gearing up for the 2025-26 season with an exciting non-conference schedule. Head coach Katie Faulkner shared that this schedule aims to challenge her team in various ways. She believes every game is an opportunity for growth, preparing the players for conference play.

The season will start with an exhibition against Westcliff on October 31, followed by the first official game against CSU Fullerton on November 4. They will host their home opener against Westmont on November 8.

This season, Pepperdine is facing a fresh set of opponents, with only four teams returning from last year’s lineup. Notably, they will play against USC, which had a strong run last season, reaching the Elite Eight in the NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament, where they were eliminated by UConn.

The Waves will play seven games at Firestone Fieldhouse, including the new Malibu Classic. This event will feature South Dakota, North Dakota State, and the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. These games are scheduled for December 16 and 17, with additional neutral games on December 17 and 18.

Pepperdine will also meet new faces like North Dakota State on December 16. They’ll continue a home-and-home series with Northern Arizona, California Baptist, and CSUN later in December.

This year’s schedule is packed, with 12 games before the conference season, a notable increase from last year’s nine. The final four games will be in Malibu, giving the team a breather as they head into West Coast Conference play.

Here’s a quick look at the non-conference schedule:

  • November 4: CSU Fullerton (Away)
  • November 8: Westmont College (Home)
  • November 14: Utah Valley (Away)
  • November 19: Northern Arizona (Away)

  • December 13: Cal State Los Angeles (Home)
  • December 16: North Dakota State (Home, Malibu Classic)
