Exciting Matchups Revealed: MEAC Unveils 2026 Women’s Tennis Championship Seeding – Morgan State University Athletics

The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) has revealed the women’s tennis bracket for the 2026 MEAC Tennis Championship, taking place from April 23-25 at Cary Tennis Park in Cary, North Carolina.

Morgan State and Norfolk State both finished the regular season as champions with a record of 5-1. However, Morgan State earned the top seed for the tournament due to their win in a head-to-head match against Norfolk State.

As the No. 1 seed, Morgan State receives a bye in the first round and will head straight to the semifinals on Friday, April 24, at 9 a.m. They will face the winner of the match between No. 4 North Carolina Central and No. 5 Delaware State.

On April 23, North Carolina Central and Delaware State will kick off the tournament at 8 a.m. Meanwhile, the No. 2 seed, Norfolk State, will also begin their campaign against No. 7 Coppin State at the same time. Later that morning, No. 3 seed Howard will go up against No. 6 seed South Carolina State at 11 a.m.

Winners from these initial matchups will advance to the semifinals on Friday, leading up to the championship match on Saturday, April 25, at 9 a.m. Fans can catch all the action live on ESPN+.
