Alongside the board game, collectible RPG dice inspired by the Pixel Remasters are also on the horizon. Each set will come with a chic character figure, making them ideal for gameplay and display.
According to Alex Kessler, CEO of KessCo, the goal is to create an engaging experience for both veteran fans and newcomers. “We want to honor the rich legacy of these games while making them accessible and fun,” he shared. This approach taps into a broader trend: tabletop gaming is gaining popularity. A study by the American Council on Exercise noted that board gaming saw a surge, especially during the pandemic, with more people seeking interactive, social experiences.
