Exciting New Food Truck Game Show Series Hosted by Baton Rouge Personalities – Don’t Miss the Fun!

Chef Jay Ducote and radio host LaTangela Fay Sherman are gearing up to launch exciting new competition shows on Fawesome. These series mark Fawesome’s entry into the world of competition television.

“Southern Food Truck Wars,” hosted by Ducote, features food trucks from Baton Rouge fighting for the title of “Southern Food Truck Champion.” Over six episodes, these food trucks will showcase their best dishes, hoping to impress the judges based on presentation, taste, and execution.

Each episode lasts about 22 minutes and builds up to a thrilling finale where two trucks face off in six intense rounds. The champions walk away with $1,000, a $5,000 advertising package, and the much-coveted title. Judging the competition will be Ducote, along with Global Content founder Joshua K. Carpenter, personal chef Tameeka Stewart, and catering owner Darrell Freeman.

“Food trucks are where culinary innovation happens,” Ducote said. He’s eager to experience the unique flavors that the top food trucks in the South have to offer.

Meanwhile, LaTangela Fay Sherman will host the “Fawesome Family Game Show.” In this fun series, two teams compete in a series of speedy, reimagined games. Some of the exciting games include:

  • “Etch It Out” – a drawing game akin to Pictionary, where players sketch clues for teammates to guess.
  • “Word Scramble” – inspired by Boggle, where players rearrange letters to form words.
  • “Chain Reaction” – a word-linking challenge that requires teams to build connections between words.
  • Word Feud” – a guessing game similar to “Family Feud,” covering various entertaining topics.

The winning team in each episode earns a cash prize of $1,000.

If you’re curious to see how these competitions unfold, you can find both shows on Fawesome’s streaming service.

In other news, Baton Rouge resident and LSU alum Morgan Harris snagged $3,600 in prizes on a recent episode of “Wheel of Fortune.” The former cheerleader is now a senior loan officer and continues to shine in her career.

On a different note, Pitman Casting is on the lookout for divorced couples, or those considering divorce, particularly where women are paying spousal support. They aim to create a docuseries highlighting this often-overlooked aspect of divorce. Couples aged 21 and up can apply and potentially be featured in multiple episodes, receiving compensation for their participation.

In sports, mark your calendars for “NFL Honors,” airing live from New Orleans at 8 PM on Thursday. This annual awards show will celebrate standout players and performances from the NFL season, with Snoop Dogg as the host.
