Exciting New Hire: Meet Our Club’s Fresh Food and Beverages Manager!

Josh Reyes is the new Food and Beverages Manager at the Eastern Shore Yacht & Country Club. He brings a wealth of experience from his previous role at Triple Creek Ranch, a luxury resort in Montana known for its top-notch hospitality. There, he helped the ranch earn two Michelin Keys, reflecting outstanding service.

Originally from New York City, Josh earned his degree from Ithaca College, a top communications school. He and his wife left the city after the birth of their daughter during the pandemic. Seeking space and community, they moved to Montana. Eventually, a teaching job for his wife brought them to the Eastern Shore, where Josh found a deeper appreciation for rural living.

Josh has a strong background in music, too. He founded PortaRock Inc. and produced popular radio shows and podcasts, attracting tens of thousands of listeners. His entertainment brand has performed in venues around the world and raised funds for infrastructure projects in developing countries, featuring artists like Stephen Marley.

At the club, Josh wants to create memorable dining experiences that go beyond just food. He believes dining should be an occasion to cherish. “Food is not only nourishment; it should evoke joy and memories,” he says.

His plans include introducing unique menu items and interactive dining events, aiming to make every visit to the club special. Recently, he hosted silent disco parties there, a trend gaining popularity at venues across the country, blending music and dining in a fun way.

As the food and beverage landscape evolves, Josh’s focus aligns with a trend highlighted by a recent survey from the National Restaurant Association, which found that 80% of diners want memorable experiences. Here, he hopes to foster that desire, creating an atmosphere where each meal is something members look forward to repeating.
