Exciting New Lifestyle Store Opening Soon in Charming Suffolk Seaside Town!

A new lifestyle store is set to open in Felixstowe, taking the place of a children’s shop that recently closed. Thrive Lifestyle Store will feature gifts, homewares, and accessories made by local artisans.

Megan Clark, the founder, runs a seasonal shop at Helmingham Hall near Stowmarket. She sees this new location on Orwell Road as a chance to showcase the talents of local makers. Megan describes Thrive as a family-run business dedicated to supporting independent artists. “Felixstowe has always been special to us,” she says, excited about launching the store this July.

In addition to a curated collection of handmade items, Megan plans to offer delicious coffee and tasty treats. She has applied for a pavement license to set up outdoor seating, creating a cozy spot for customers to enjoy.

“We’re collaborating with local businesses to make this dream come true,” Megan shares. The store will also host creative workshops led by regional artists, fostering a sense of community. With a focus on sustainability, Thrive will showcase some of East Anglia’s best independent talents.

According to recent surveys, consumers increasingly prefer shopping local, with over 70% of participants saying they feel more connected to their community when they support local businesses. This trend is significant as it not only boosts the local economy but also reduces environmental impact.

As Thrive prepares to open, Megan invites everyone to visit and be part of this exciting new venture in Felixstowe.
