Indian Railways is adding six new trains for Bihar on September 29, including two Amrit Bharat Express services. This move aims to enhance travel across the state and stimulate the local economy. All trains will be managed by the East Central Railway zone.
Among the new services, four trains will connect various cities within Bihar, while the Amrit Bharat Express trains will improve links with Telangana and Rajasthan. Here’s a quick list of the new routes:

- Patna–Buxar Fast Passenger
- Patna–Nawada DEMU Passenger
- Patna–Islampur DEMU Passenger

Starting October 1, the Danapur–Jhajha Fast Express will run six days a week, stopping at 22 stations, including Patna and Bakhtiyarpur.
The Patna–Buxar Fast Passenger will also operate six days a week, stopping at seven key stations such as Ara and Raghunathpur.
Similarly, the Patna–Nawada DEMU Passenger will run the same schedule, serving 21 stations along its route. The Patna–Islampur DEMU Passenger will cover 19 stations, also running six days a week.
The two Amrit Bharat Express trains will offer a once-a-week service. The Muzaffarpur–Charlapalli route, for example, will stop at 24 stations, including Hajipur and Peddapalli. The Darbhanga–Madar train will connect 31 stations, enhancing accessibility across regions.
