Exciting News: Ally Brown Joins Lexington SC with Multi-Year Contract – A Win for University of Tennessee Athletics!

LEXINGTON, Ky. — Former Tennessee women’s soccer star Ally Brown has just signed a multi-year contract with Lexington Sporting Club, a team in the Gainbridge USL Super League. She’s one of three former Tennessee players making waves in the league, joining her peers Mackenzie George at Carolina Ascent FC and Carlyn Baldwin at Fort Lauderdale United FC.

Brown has a standout collegiate background. Last fall, she led the Lady Vols as captain, helping the team achieve 13 shutouts, tying a program record. Her efforts earned her First Team All-SEC and Fourth Team All-America honors. During the 2025 season, she logged 1,627 minutes, scoring two goals and assisting four others.

Her accolades don’t stop there. She received recognition as a Third Team Best XI player from TopDrawerSoccer and was honored as the SEC Scholar-Athlete of the Year. Over her four years, Brown participated in 64 matches, starting 55, and contributed three goals and eleven assists while racking up over 5,000 minutes on the field.

Before joining Lexington SC, Brown participated in the U.S. Women’s National Team Development Camp in Los Angeles, showcasing her skills to national coaches. As of now, Lexington SC holds a 5-0-9 record in the ongoing season and sits second in the Gainbridge Super League standings. They will resume play on January 31 against Fort Lauderdale United FC.

For young athletes, Brown’s journey emphasizes the importance of dedication both on and off the field. Studies show that former collegiate athletes often excel in their careers due to the discipline and teamwork skills they develop. The NCAA reported that 83% of student-athletes believe their sports participation has helped prepare them for life after college, highlighting the benefits that go beyond the pitch.

Ally Brown’s story is not just about sports; it serves as inspiration for young players everywhere. As she takes this next step, her future looks bright.
