Exciting News: BPC Instruments Secures 1 MSEK Order from Cornell University!

BPC Instruments AB recently secured an order from Cornell University worth about SEK 1 million. This deal includes two of their top-notch AMPTS® III Duo systems, which are designed for batch anaerobic fermentation tests.

These advanced systems will assist Cornell researchers in various experiments. They’ll focus on characterizing feedstock, optimizing processes, studying biodegradable materials, and monitoring microbial activity. The ultimate aim is to improve sustainable energy recovery from organic waste to produce biomethane.

The AMPTS® III Duo is widely respected among research institutions and biogas facilities globally. It’s known for its precise measurements and reliability, making it a go-to method in both academic studies and technology tests. Dr. Jing Liu, BPC Instruments’ CEO, noted that it’s inspiring to see prominent U.S. universities invest in their solutions. This trend highlights a growing interest in anaerobic digestion research, crucial for advancing sustainable energy in North America.

Interestingly, research from the U.S. Department of Energy shows that the demand for biogas is projected to grow significantly. The transition to renewable energy sources is more important than ever as concerns about climate change shape energy policies.

Revenue from this latest order is expected to be recognized in the third quarter of 2025. This reflects a stable growth trajectory for BPC Instruments, aligning with global interests in renewable energy and sustainability.
