Exciting News: Chargers CB Fulton Teams Up with Chiefs for Future Success!

Kristian Fulton, a cornerback now a free agent, has signed a two-year deal worth $20 million with the Kansas City Chiefs. This contract guarantees him $15 million, according to his agent, Todd France.

Fulton had an impressive start to the last season with the Los Angeles Chargers. By their Week 5 bye, he was among the best in the NFL. He ranked 11th for allowing the lowest passer rating, which was 69.7, when he was the nearest defender. He even grabbed an interception against Patrick Mahomes, a key player for the Chiefs.

However, after the bye week, Fulton’s performance dropped. He dealt with a hamstring injury, missing two games and affecting his play in others. From Week 6 on, he allowed one of the highest passer ratings, 114.0, and tied for the fifth-most touchdowns given up, with four.

A second-round pick in 2020 from LSU, injuries have been a tough challenge for Fulton throughout his career with the Tennessee Titans. He’s missed 23 games in four years. Yet, he believes he showed in 2024 that he could handle the season without major injuries.

At 26 years old, Fulton played 15 games last season, which is the most he’s ever played, and finished with one interception and 51 tackles. Over his career, he’s recorded 201 tackles and five interceptions in 57 games, 51 of which he started.
