LOS ANGELES – LMU baseball is gearing up for its 2026 season with an exciting schedule. The team aims to carry its momentum into a competitive lineup. The season kicks off with a three-game home series against Tulane from February 13-15. This will set the stage for a midweek battle against USC on February 17.
After hosting Washington for another three-game series from February 20-22, the Lions will face TCU on February 23 and UCSB on February 24 at home. This early stretch provides a mix of familiar foes and new challenges.
The non-conference games promise thrilling competition, featuring some heavy hitters from around the nation. Notably, the Lions will travel to Winston-Salem, North Carolina, to take on Wake Forest and Davidson from February 27 to March 1. March will also see them in Tempe to face Arizona State (March 6-8) and Abilene Christian in Texas (March 13-15).
Additional road tests include games against UCSB (March 3), Long Beach State (March 17), UCLA (March 24), CSUN (April 14), and UC San Diego (April 28). Back home, the team will host midweek games against Utah (March 2), Cal Baptist (March 10), Cal Poly (March 25), UC Riverside (April 21), and UCLA again on May 5.
West Coast Conference Play
Conference play starts on March 20 with a series against Portland at home. LMU will face off against San Francisco (April 2-4), Pepperdine (April 17-19), and Saint Mary’s (May 8-10) in key home matchups. The rivalry game against Pepperdine is one to watch!
On the road, the Lions will meet Santa Clara (March 27-29), Seattle (April 10-12), Gonzaga (April 24-26), Pacific (May 1-3), and finish the regular season at San Diego (May 14-16).
After the regular season wraps up, the WCC Baseball Tournament will take place in Las Vegas at the Las Vegas Ballpark. This tournament will determine who receives the automatic bid into the NCAA Tournament.
