Damet, just 35 years old, has about 20 years of coaching experience. His journey started at a young age in France, coaching youth teams before making his way to North America. He joined CF Montreal Academy in 2014, where he began to establish his reputation.
In 2017, he became an assistant coach for FC Cincinnati. Remarkably, he became the youngest head coach in MLS history at age 29, winning his debut match. After a stint with LA Galaxy II, he transitioned to the first team, where he excelled under head coach Greg Vanney.
