With Apple’s recent iPhone event wrapped up, fans are buzzing about what’s coming next. In October, Apple usually reveals smaller updates, and according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, we can expect some announcements very soon.
Gurman mentioned in his latest newsletter that we’ll see a few important products launched online rather than through a big event at Apple Park. Among these, the new M5 chip will likely make its debut in two products: the iPad Pro and the Vision Pro. Gurman describes this release as “imminent.”
There’s also talk of a new MacBook Pro, but it may only include the base M5 chip for now. More advanced versions with the M5 Pro and M5 Max chips are expected later, possibly early next year.
In terms of other potential updates, items like the HomePod mini, Apple TV, and AirTag are still on Apple’s agenda, but no set date has been provided. Gurman hints that these are still in the pipeline, so don’t be discouraged if they aren’t announced this week.
Looking further ahead, the first half of 2026 should bring an iPad refresh featuring the A18 chip, a new iPad Air with an M4 chip, and two new external monitors for Mac users. Additionally, fans can look forward to the launch of the iPhone 17e.
Apple’s focus on chip advancements, with the M5 and upcoming A18 chip, highlights its commitment to pushing technology boundaries. As we await these launches, many tech enthusiasts are eager to see how these updates could shape user experiences and software capabilities.
