Elgin, IL – April 26, 2025 — Judson University is excited to announce the groundbreaking of a new football facility this May, thanks to generous support from donors. This marks a significant step forward for the Eagles Football Program.

On Saturday, May 3, the university will host a day filled with spring football events to celebrate this achievement. The day kicks off with the dedication of the Flynn Football Offices, the new base for the coaching staff. These modern offices will include spaces for meetings and team planning. They are named in honor of the Flynn family, led by alumnus and trustee Shawn Flynn, whose support has been vital for the program.
Following this, the groundbreaking ceremony for the Scislowski Family Football Facility will take place next to the Lindner Fitness Center. This new complex will replace the original football offices and will feature locker rooms, meeting rooms, and player lounges. The Scislowski family has been a key supporter of Judson University, and their contributions have made this project possible.
Head Coach Quintin Demps expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “This facility is a game-changer for our program. It’s about investing in our players and building a winning culture.” Facilities like this can significantly impact player performance and morale. Studies show that well-designed sports facilities enhance athlete engagement and commitment, which is crucial for program success.
After the dedication, festivities will continue with a tailgate luncheon for donors, leading up to the Eagles’ 2025 Spring Football Game at Dawson Field, starting at 1:00 p.m. This will be the only on-campus game of the season, as regular home games will be held at Millennium Field in Streamwood.
The 2025 season will kick off with Judson’s first-ever “Week 0” matchup on Thursday, August 28, marking Coach Demps’ third season. The investments being made now not only enhance facilities but also reflect a commitment to a brighter future for Judson Football, fostering a strong community around the program.
May 3 will be a historic day for Judson Football, showcasing progress and promising growth for the team, thanks to the incredible support from its donors. This dedication to excellence highlights the importance of community and partnerships in uplifting athletic programs.
