Konami and MYTHRIL have exciting news! They are launching Suikoden STAR LEAP for iOS and Android. While there’s no official release date yet, the game will be free-to-play and include in-game purchases.

Since its debut in Japan in 1995, the Suikoden series has captured hearts with 11 titles, including main games and spin-offs.

Suikoden STAR LEAP brings a fresh chapter to the series, designed especially for mobile devices.

It features charming pixel art graphics that stay true to the series’ classic style, paired with lively sounds for a unique Suikoden experience. Players can expect to meet and befriend 108 new stars.

Story

The Rune of Change, one of the 27 True Runes that created the world, sets the stage.

The story takes place near the vast Scarlet Moon Empire, in a lakeside village. One night, Hou’s son, the village chief’s boy, returns home from his first hunt. The village buzzes with happiness, but soon disaster strikes, changing everything.

Joined by Hisui, Shirin, and Shapur, he sets out to bring peace back to their home. A simple journey quickly evolves into a grand adventure filled with destiny.

Characters

Hero (voiced by Tomohiro Ono) – A brave and kind young man, he dreams of making his village a better place.

Hisui (voiced by Hika Tsukishiro) – The cheerful servant of the Hero. Though she hides her feelings, her kindness shines through.

Hou (voiced by Akio Otsuka) – The Hero’s father and village chief. Once a fierce warrior, his past holds many secrets and connections to powerful figures.

Shirin (voiced by Fairouz Ai) – The Hero’s spirited childhood friend, passionate about justice and loyalty.

Shapur (voiced by Takuya Sato) – The Hero’s teacher and former general. He has a mysterious past that hints he’s more than just a village butler.
