Tennessee volleyball has a new Director of Operations! Eve Rackham Watt, the head coach, is excited to bring Terrence Robertson on board. He’s joining from Florida International University, where he was the Associate Head Coach and Recruiting Coordinator.
Robertson has a strong track record. At FIU, he helped the team achieve a remarkable 20-win season in 2025, marking the first time they reached that milestone since 2011. The Panthers made it to the Conference USA Championship Game, coming close to a spot in the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2019. Under his guidance, several players received postseason accolades, including Mandi Morioka, who was named CUSA Libero of the Year.
Before his time at FIU, Robertson spent four successful years at UMBC, leading the team to 44 wins and consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances. He played a crucial role in the Retrievers’ back-to-back America East Championships in 2020 and 2021. His coaching contributed to a perfect conference season in 2021 and numerous All-America East honors for his players.
Robertson’s achievements haven’t gone unnoticed; he was included in the AVCA’s prestigious Thirty Under 30 Award list, which celebrates emerging coaching talent in volleyball.
He earned his degree at Campbell University, where he also played basketball. His diverse experience in both sports and coaching, paired with his business background, brings a unique perspective to the Tennessee volleyball program.
