Exciting News: Timothy Cross Joins the Board of Trustees at Williamsburg Health Foundation!

WILLIAMSBURG — The Williamsburg Health Foundation has welcomed Timothy Cross to its Board of Trustees.

Tim recently retired from his role as York County’s Deputy Director of Planning and Development Services after 35 years in the planning field.

Deanna Van Hersh, the President and CEO of the Williamsburg Health Foundation, expressed enthusiasm about his appointment: “His extensive experience with community leaders, businesses, and residents will significantly benefit our efforts to enhance health and well-being in Greater Williamsburg.”

Tim holds a bachelor’s degree from William & Mary and a master’s in City and Regional Planning from Rutgers University. A Northern Virginia native, he has lived in Greater Williamsburg for over three decades with his wife, Cathy, in Upper York County.

The Williamsburg Health Foundation works to improve health and well-being in the Greater Williamsburg area. Since it started, the Foundation has awarded more than $110 million in grants to boost community health initiatives.
