AMERICAN FORK — Doughnut lovers in northern Utah have something to look forward to! Pinkbox Doughnuts is opening a new location in American Fork on January 17. This new spot is taking over the building where Zaxby’s used to be, right by the I-15 exit for Main Street.
Pinkbox Doughnuts started in Las Vegas over a decade ago. The founders wanted to create unique and tasty doughnuts in a fun atmosphere. They quickly gained popularity, and in 2022, they opened their first Utah location in St. George, which has become a hit with locals and visitors alike.
Now, they’re expanding even more. Along with the American Fork location, they plan to open a store in Sandy later this summer. Stephen Siegel, the founder, shared that many factors go into picking new locations. “We really focus on doing it right and providing a full experience, not just a shop,” he said.
People are excited about this new opening. A recent social media post hinted at all the buzz surrounding Pinkbox’s arrival in the Wasatch Front. Currently, Pinkbox has over a dozen locations, mostly in southern Nevada.
At Pinkbox, they emphasize creativity and quality. Siegel explained the importance of making every detail special, from the décor to the doughnuts themselves. “We wanted to create something people crave,” he noted. The stores aim for a fun, family-friendly atmosphere where enjoying a treat feels magical.
The grand opening event at the American Fork store will feature a doughnut-eating contest and more. Pinkbox Doughnuts aims to connect with the community through local partnerships and events, as they believe that the spirit of community involvement is vital to their brand.
With the growing appetite for sweet treats in Utah, it’s clear Pinkbox Doughnuts is positioned to thrive. As Siegel said, “We couldn’t be more excited to bring Pinkbox Doughnuts to northern Utah!”
