Exciting Partnership: Packers and Network Health Team Up for Operation Fan Mail 2025!

Operation Fan Mail is a heartfelt program honoring military families and veterans at Green Bay Packers home games. In 2025, it will celebrate its 19th season, with support from Network Health.

Launched in 2007, this initiative recognizes active-duty military members, veterans, and their families. Each home game, one family will be celebrated on the field during pregame ceremonies. A total of 216 families have been honored since the program began.

Packers President and CEO Mark Murphy expressed pride in this collaboration. He said, “Recognizing these incredible men and women for their bravery is always a special part of gameday.” Similarly, Coreen Dicus-Johnson, the CEO of Network Health, emphasized their shared commitment to excellence and the honor of supporting military families through this program.

Families interested in being recognized can submit a personal essay of 500 words or less. These essays should share why a specific fan deserves this honor. Submissions can be sent to Operation Fan Mail, P.O. Box 10628, Green Bay, WI, or entered online at the Packers’ website. Eligible families must have a member serving actively or someone who is a veteran. This includes siblings, parents, and spouses.

Selected families will receive four game tickets and a spot on the video boards, showcasing their contributions and sacrifices. It’s an emotional tribute that reinforces the bond between sports and community support for those who serve.

Statistics show that programs like Operation Fan Mail have a significant impact. A recent survey found that 90% of veterans feel appreciated when honored in public settings. This kind of recognition can strengthen community ties and encourage more initiatives that celebrate service members and their families.

The tradition of supporting military personnel in sports isn’t new. Similar efforts exist across various leagues, reflecting a broader cultural appreciation for veterans and active-duty members. Programs like these not only bring attention to their sacrifices but also foster a sense of belonging and appreciation in communities.

The Packers’ commitment to this program underlines the importance of honoring those who protect our freedoms while reinforcing a strong community spirit.
