Exciting Partnership: Palmetto Sports & Entertainment Teams Up with Charlotte Hornets to Bring Five Thrilling Games to Fans Across the Carolinas!

The Charlotte Hornets are teaming up with Gray Media, Capitol Broadcasting, and FanDuel Sports Southeast to bring five NBA games to local viewers this season. This is a big deal because it’s the first time Hornets games will air on local, over-the-air television since the 2007-08 season.

These games will be available for free, thanks to the NBA’s agreement with Main Street Sports Group (formerly Diamond Sports Group), which owns FanDuel Sports Southeast.

People in Columbia and the surrounding Midlands can watch these games on WIS channel 10.4 and WTES channel 35.2.

Here’s the schedule for the five games:

  • Los Angeles Lakers – January 27 at 7:00 p.m.
  • Los Angeles Clippers – January 31 at 7:00 p.m.
  • Milwaukee Bucks – February 5 at 7:00 p.m.
  • @ Dallas Mavericks – February 27 at 8:30 p.m.
  • Golden State Warriors – March 3 at 7:00 p.m.

Shelly Cayette-Weston, the Hornets President of Business Operations, expressed excitement about this partnership. She said it helps the team connect with more fans and extend their TV audience. Sandy Breland, Gray’s Chief Operating Officer, also highlighted the commitment to delivering live sports to viewers across the Carolinas.

The games will be produced by FanDuel Sports Southeast, featuring play-by-play announcer Eric Collins, former Hornet Dell Curry as the analyst, and Shannon Spake as the host and sideline reporter.
