Avanti Food & Beverage opened in Lower Highland in July 2015. It was one of the first upscale food halls in metro Denver, leading a trend that now has over 20 similar venues. Since then, Avanti has expanded to Boulder and Vail.
As it approaches its 10th anniversary, Avanti is undergoing a major remodel of its first floor. This means three food stands have closed: Pho King Rapidos, 22 Provisions, and Gorlami Pizza.
In their place, Avanti plans to introduce three new food concepts. The grand reopening is set for March.
Additionally, a new coffee shop will be part of the remodel, offering breakfast burritos and pastries. This new option will let guests enjoy Avanti from morning to night, according to Travis Christ, the director of operations.
Changes will also include new seating, flooring, and an upgraded sound system.
For now, Amá Modern Mexican, Knockabout Burgers, and a bar are open on the second floor from Tuesday to Saturday. Quiero Arepas will reopen in March following the renovations.
Pho King Rapidos, which once had a popular food truck, plans to reopen, possibly with a new concept, in Denver later this year.
