Exciting Summer Concerts Revealed: Ledge Amphitheater Unveils Lineup with More to Come!

The Ledge Amphitheater in Waite Park is gearing up for its fifth season of concerts this summer. Things are looking exciting with a lineup that’s already packed with great shows.

This summer, The Ledge will host 12 confirmed performances, and there are 15 more potential shows in the works. Chris Fritz, the president of New West Presentations, which promotes the events, shared, “We try to be pretty diverse. We’re appealing to the surrounding areas. Thanks to community support, it’s working.”

The season kicks off on June 8 with country music favorite Alison Krauss & Union Station, accompanied by Jerry Douglas. Just a few days later, on June 12, the legendary band Chicago will take the stage for a special extended concert featuring their classic hits.

On August 3, alternative rock fans can look forward to Rainbow Kitten Surprise. The band will donate part of its ticket sales to support LGBTQ+ mental health initiatives and aid for victims of the recent wildfires in Los Angeles, in partnership with the nonprofit PLUS1.

The excitement continues with an Earth, Wind & Fire concert on August 10 at 7 p.m. Tickets go on presale soon and then general sale after that. Later in August, on the 18th, The Goo Goo Dolls and Dashboard Confessional will also perform at the venue.

The popular Ledgetober event will return on October 4, featuring beer tasting, live music, and more. Tickets and more details will be shared in February.

While there are no details yet on all the summer shows, Fritz mentioned that six more concerts should be announced by February, with a full lineup expected by March. He hinted at some exciting surprises, saying, “There will be a lot of really good acts coming.”

This year, The Ledge is also expanding its VIP section and introducing new box seating. The venue anticipates a larger crowd and aims to ensure that all fans enjoy a fantastic experience. “We’re there for the artists, and we’re definitely there for the fans,” Fritz affirmed. “We want everyone to leave even happier than when they arrived.”

Located at 1700 Parkway Dr. in Waite Park, The Ledge Amphitheater opened its doors in 2021 and can host up to 6,000 visitors for outdoor events. Plus, there’s free parking available during shows!
