Recently, Ubisoft posted job openings for Beyond Good and Evil 2, including positions for a Technical Sound Designer and Senior Character Artist. This is good news as it shows the game is still in development. However, it also suggests the game may not be ready until the next generation of consoles, possibly even for the PS6.
Originally announced in 2008 with a brief trailer, it wasn’t until E3 2017 that Ubisoft provided a more substantial reveal. A follow-up cinematic appeared at E3 2018, but since then, there haven’t been major updates.
