Future Plans for Indian Railways

In a recent budget announcement, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw shared exciting news. The government plans to introduce 200 new Vande Bharat trains over the next 2-3 years. This includes 100 Amrit Bharat trains and other services to enhance rail travel across the country.

The budget allocation of ₹2,52,000 crore for the financial year 2025-26 will support this expansion, aiming for safer and more comfortable travel options for everyone.

With these improvements, Indian Railways hopes to provide better services for low and middle-class travelers, making rail journeys more convenient and accessible.
