Halo fans, let’s talk about an exciting future for competitive play. This summer, we shared that Year 4 would be the last for official Halo Infinite competitions. But there’s more to look forward to in 2026!
### What’s in Store for 2026?
We’re thrilled to announce a partnership with key esports groups for Halo Infinite competitions. This collaboration aims to bring thrilling events to both Europe and North America.
### DreamHack Partnership
First up, we’re heading to DreamHack Birmingham from March 27-29, 2026. DreamHack has a rich history with Halo and has always welcomed the community. They’re hosting us, and we’ll have a $100,000 prize pool! Competing teams will also receive travel support.
Expect both open brackets and serious competition. We’re loaning essential equipment—think consoles and monitors—to make these events unforgettable.
### Team Support
Our partnered teams are also stepping up. Cloud9, FaZe, Shopify, and Spacestation are committed to supporting the Halo Community in 2026. They’ll help shape the competitions and prize pools.
### HCS Grassroots Initiative
We’re not stopping there. We’re collaborating with community legends and grassroots partners like LVT and the European Halo League. They’ll receive prizes to host more Halo online competitions throughout the year.
### Halo Fest 2026
In another exciting update, Halo Fest will be in Seattle to celebrate 25 years of Halo! This community gathering is a must for fans, with esports front and center. At the fest, we’ll host an HCS Invitational featuring top teams, live on stage for everyone to enjoy, both in-person and online.
### Why This Matters
Competitive gaming has seen significant growth recently. According to a report by Newzoo, the global esports audience has surpassed 500 million. This interest means more support for events like ours. With community backing and robust partnerships, we’re building something special for fans and players alike.
As we gear up for 2026, we’re grateful for our amazing community and partners. Together, we’ll elevate Halo’s competitive scene and create lasting memories.
Thanks for your continued support, and see you at the games!
