The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has announced changes to the Sunday class meeting schedule. The First Presidency recently shared that members can expect a new format starting September 6, 2026.
For the first time since the two-hour block was introduced in 2019, all meetings will happen during the second hour. Members will have an hour for sacrament meeting, followed by 25-minute sessions for Sunday School and other classes. There will be a short break between each segment to transition.
In the March 30 announcement, the First Presidency emphasized continuing scripture studies through programs like “Come, Follow Me.” Adult and youth classes will delve into messages from the latest general conference. Importantly, prayer will start and end each meeting, fostering a more spiritual environment.
