Exclusive Insight: Natalie Portman Shares Her Joy and Gratitude as She Welcomes Her Third Child!

Natalie Portman is thrilled to announce she and her partner, Tanguy Destable, are expecting their third child. In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, she expressed her excitement and gratitude, saying, “It’s such a privilege and a miracle.”

At 44, Portman reflects deeply on her journey to motherhood. Growing up as the daughter of a fertility doctor, she understands the struggles many face in becoming parents. “I know how lucky I am. It’s a beautiful, joyful experience, but it can also be really challenging,” she shared.

With this pregnancy, gratitude has taken on new meaning for Portman. She already has two children, Aleph, 14, and Amalia, 9. “There’s a calm that comes with knowing what matters in life: the people around me and the energy I welcome,” she noted. She treasures each moment, recognizing this is likely her last pregnancy.

Physically, she feels great. “I have more energy than I expected,” she said, mentioning that she’s staying active through swimming and Gyrotonics. “Spending time with my kids is the best part,” she added.

In her career, Portman is busy too. She’s co-founded her production company, MountainA, focusing on female-driven films. Her upcoming projects include The Gallerist, a quirky comedy where she plays an art dealer, and a romantic comedy titled Good Sex. She has also become the new face of Tiffany & Co., alongside her long-standing role with Dior.

Currently, Portman is enjoying her time in Paris. The pleasant spring weather allows her to stroll through beautiful parks and soak up the art scene. “It’s amazing to just enjoy life when you’re not working,” she says with a smile. Joking about cultural differences, she added, “In France, they consider full-term to be 41 weeks, so I get an extra week to be pregnant!”

When it comes to the challenges of parenthood, Portman approaches them with a calm mindset. “I don’t follow too much on social media,” she explained. “Having been through this before, I’ve learned you just figure it out. Being present and loving is what really matters.”

Interestingly, she’s not experiencing any unusual cravings this time—just a fondness for fruits like pineapple and melon.

Her journey reflects a balance of joy and gratitude, making this chapter of her life even more special.
