Phil Robertson’s health has been taking a turn for the worse. His son, Jase, shared updates during an episode of their podcast, “Unashamed With the Robertson Family.” Jase didn’t sugarcoat the situation, saying Phil’s health “hasn’t been good” and that they’re focused on his comfort and care.
Phil is facing multiple serious health issues. Back in December, Willie Robertson revealed Phil has a blood disorder that could lead to ministrokes. Doctors also see early signs of Alzheimer’s, adding to the family’s worries. Despite his condition, Willie has been cooking for Phil, making meals like hamburgers and crawfish to help encourage his appetite.
Recently, Jase laid it out for friends and fans: things aren’t looking good. The family is looking at medical options, but their main priority now is Phil’s comfort.
On a brighter note, Jase shared that his wife Kay is doing better. She had been hospitalized due to an infection from a fall, leading the family to worry it could be life-threatening. Thankfully, she has stabilized and is now focused on rehabilitation and recovery.
The Robertson family first caught the public’s attention through the reality show “Duck Dynasty,” which aired from 2012 to 2017. The program showcased their lives and their successful Duck Commander business. Faith plays a huge role in the family’s life, as Phil often notes that their achievements are rooted in their Christian beliefs.
Phil once said, "Fame is fleeting. What matters most is Jesus Christ." He emphasizes that true peace comes from faith and not from wealth or fame. In his view, everyone eventually faces the same fate, and it’s important to have a solid relationship with God.
In 2022, about 76% of adults in the U.S. identified with a religion, showing a connection that many share with the Robertsons’ values. Phil’s strong belief in faith and family continues to resonate with many, reminding them of what truly matters in life amidst fame and fortune.
