Experience a Night of Musical Magic: Dallas Symphony’s Christopher Adkins Set to Dazzle at Howard Payne University!

Howard Payne University in Brownwood, Texas, is set to host a special guest recital featuring Christopher Adkins, the principal cellist of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra. Mark your calendars for November 11 at 7:30 p.m. in Grace Chapel—it’s free for everyone!

After moving back to Dallas in 1987, he took on the principal chair once held by his mentor, Lev Aronson. Adkins is also a faculty member at Southern Methodist University and actively performs around the region. Notably, he received a Grammy nomination with the contemporary music group Voices of Change for their album “Voces Americanas.”
