Taste of Vail: A Culinary Adventure

Since its launch in 1990, Taste of Vail has aimed to establish Vail as a top destination for food lovers. It started as a gathering of culinary enthusiasts and has grown into a must-visit festival for both tourists and locals alike. Attendees can meet renowned chefs and participate in educational seminars on various culinary topics.

In 2019, the festival joined forces with Habitat for Humanity Vail Valley, supporting their effort to provide housing resources for local families. This partnership illustrates the festival’s commitment to community and sustainability.

What to Expect in 2025

Marking its 34th year, this year’s Taste of Vail promises four packed days filled with signature events, wine seminars, and exquisite dinners. More than 50 wineries from across the Northern Hemisphere will showcase their offerings alongside over 25 prominent chefs from the Vail Valley and beyond. Notable chefs for this year’s festival include Melissa Perello and Alexander Valley Vineyards, among others.

A Blend of Slope and Sip

Whether you’re keen to ski during the day or enjoy culinary experiences, Taste of Vail offers the best of both worlds. You can hit the slopes in the morning, then savor delectable dishes and fine wines in the afternoon and evening. It’s a fantastic way to celebrate the end of ski season in style.

In a poll conducted by the National Ski Areas Association, 38% of skiers reported they enjoy participating in food and drink events while skiing. This festival aligns perfectly with that trend, ensuring attendees can indulge both on the slopes and off.

Taste of Vail not only highlights the region’s culinary talents but also builds community spirit through shared experiences and a love of fine food and drink. This year, it promises to deliver a feast for the senses, making it a standout event in the Vail calendar.
