Experience Inspiration: GoodHeart’s Dream Big Foundation Launches with Uplifting Worship Event!

In a heartfelt celebration, the Dream Big for Youth Foundation kicked off its journey with the Sounds of Victory gospel concert last Saturday at Gospel Refuge Tabernacle UPC in St. Andrew. This event wasn’t just about music; it aimed to raise essential funds and support youth initiatives.

Organized by a lively team of young volunteers, the concert attracted a great crowd, bringing in over $200,000 through generous sponsorships and donations. Antoine Lodge, the founder, emphasized that the event was more than a fundraiser; it was a chance for the community to come together and worship. “We wanted a space to honor our faith and remind everyone why dreams matter, even when times are tough,” he said.

The concert featured an inspiring lineup of gospel artists, including Khorus with a ‘K’, Gavin McDonald, Ramona Ricketts, and Jodi-Ann Palmer. Their performances created an uplifting atmosphere filled with spirit and joy.

The funds raised will directly benefit ongoing mentorship and empowerment programs. A significant portion will also go toward two scholarships aimed at assisting students transitioning from primary to secondary school. Lodge shared that these scholarships have personal significance. They honor two remarkable women—his aunt, Angella McLeod, and church sister Antoinette Dixon—who devoted their lives to supporting young people and education.

“These scholarships will help students feel valued and believed in,” Lodge explained. “We want each recipient to know they have support as they pursue their dreams.”

Looking ahead, the foundation plans to launch workshops focused on personal growth and career readiness. Lodge emphasized the importance of creating consistent programming. “We want to empower young people to dream big and take action. The Dream is alive, and we are excited to make a difference,” he added.

As the foundation moves forward, experts agree on the importance of youth development initiatives. According to a recent report from the World Economic Forum, investment in youth programs is crucial for building resilient communities. People are eager for change too; social media buzz about the event shows widespread support and excitement for the foundation’s mission.

With this strong start, the Dream Big for Youth Foundation is ready to create a lasting impact, proving that dreams can indeed come true with the right encouragement and support.
