TUCSON, Ariz. – This weekend, the No. 8 Arizona Men’s Tennis team is back in action at the LaNelle Robson Tennis Center. They will play three matches. On Friday, March 7, Arizona takes on St. John’s at 10:00 a.m. MST, followed by Northern Arizona at 2:00 p.m. MST. Then, on Sunday, March 9, the team will host Tulsa at noon.

In their last meeting with St. John’s last February, Arizona secured a solid 6-1 victory. The Cats also dominated Northern Arizona in a dual meet last year, winning 4-1. Arizona has a perfect record against the Lumberjacks, standing at 18-0. They faced Tulsa for the first time in 2023 and also won that match 6-1.
Currently, Arizona holds an impressive 11-1 record this season after claiming victory at the Diablo Invitational last weekend. They ranked No. 8 in the latest ITA national polls. In singles, Colton Smith is ranked No. 3, Jay Friend at No. 9, Zoran Ludoski at No. 60, and Oskar Jansson at No. 107. In doubles, Smith and Inaki Cabrera made their first appearance in the polls at No. 54. Friend and Eric Padgham are ranked No. 58, while Casper Christensen and Cabrera-Bello sit at No. 73.
