CJ ENM just shared some exciting news: KCON LA 2026 is set for August 14 to 16 at the Crypto.com Arena and the Los Angeles Convention Center. This event will showcase not just K-Pop performances but also a lively mix of Korean culture experiences.
Since it began in 2012, KCON has become a major event. It combines K-Pop music with various aspects of Korean lifestyle, making it a unique gathering for fans worldwide.
This year’s theme, “Walk in SOUL CITY,” invites K-Lovers (or KLOVERs) to explore a vibrant space where they can find all things Korean. They can wander through interactive booths focused on K-Beauty, K-Food, and K-Story. A standout feature will be the OLIVE YOUNG FESTA, a popular beauty festival that’s making its debut in the U.S. This festival aims to showcase South Korea’s top beauty and wellness trends.
There’s also a K-STORY ZONE for fans of Korean dramas and films, and a K-FOOD ZONE where you can taste delicious Korean dishes right in downtown LA.
On top of that, this year’s festival will have a multi-stage format, offering a range of performances over the three days. Fans can look forward to exciting shows at several stages, including M COUNTDOWN STAGE and ARTIST STAGE. A notable addition this year is an extended one-hour performance slot for headline artists, promising a richer experience for concert-goers.
Curious about who’s performing? The full lineup for KCON LA 2026 is set to be unveiled next week, so stay tuned!
Additionally, KCON JAPAN 2026 will take place from May 8 to 10 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan, featuring an exciting list of artists including ALPHA DRIVE ONE, JO1, and ZEROBASEONE, among many others.
As K-Pop continues to grow globally, events like KCON play a big role in bridging cultures and bringing fans together. They offer a unique opportunity to experience the depth of Korean culture while enjoying music from your favorite artists.
