Experience the Flavors of Unity: USI Shines a Spotlight on Cultural Diversity at the 2025 International Food Expo

The University of Southern Indiana (USI) is excited to host its annual International Food Expo on Friday, February 14, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Carter Hall, located in University Center West.

This event is a fantastic opportunity for USI’s international students to share the rich cultures and flavors of their home countries. Attendees can enjoy a variety of main dishes and desserts from around the globe. In addition to delicious food, the expo will feature lively performances, including dances, music, and a fashion show that showcases traditional attire.

Dr. Emilija (Emi) Zlatkovska, the Executive Director of the Center for International Programs, emphasizes the importance of this event. “Our international students represent their homelands and cultures,” she says. “The Food Expo is a treasured event at USI, uniting students, faculty, and the broader Evansville community. It’s a day for everyone to enjoy and learn about different cultures through the lens of food.”

Tickets for the expo are available online for $15 for non-USI attendees and $10 for current USI students. They can be purchased through the Food Expo website, or in person at Eagle Bistro or the Eagle Access Card Office in University Center West. A limited number of tickets will also be available on the day of the event.
