The Factory Arts District in Indianapolis is kicking off its first-ever All Decked Out Market, starting tomorrow alongside December’s First Friday Art Tour. This holiday celebration will feature more than 40 vendors and 120 artists, promising a festive atmosphere for everyone.
Organized by Larry Jones of Teagan Development and Ashley Simons from Factory Arts District, the event aims to unite the community. Attendees can enjoy live music, seasonal cocktails, and even photos with Santa Claus. “The All Decked Out Market is all about building meaningful connections between artists and the community,” said Larry Jones. It’s a great opportunity to explore local art and crafts.
The Factory Arts District, once a factory campus, has transformed into a vibrant hub for creativity. Factory Arts North is home to offices, studios for 125 artists, and various local businesses, making it a prime community for creatives in Indianapolis. Factory Arts South is still under development, with businesses like Salt and Ash and MVMT House already open. A new event space, The Windward Hall, will be ready by Summer 2026, providing a venue for gatherings.
At the All Decked Out Market, you’ll find unique handmade gifts, from Bebito Toys to leather goods by 1979 Co, along with jewelry from Nancy Lee Designs and stunning glass art by Glass Arts Indy. Visitors can soak in performances from Care 4 Creatives and view works in the One Piece Art Show at Schwitzer Gallery.
Ashley Simons pointed out, “We’ll have over 40 vendors in the south building and more than 100 artists in the north. It’s the perfect spot for your local Christmas shopping.” With free entry and ample parking, the All Decked Out Market is set to celebrate local talent and community spirit. The festivities run from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.
As local events like this gain popularity, it’s worth noting that community-driven markets saw a 35% increase in attendance last year, according to recent surveys. More people are prioritizing local shopping, seeking unique gifts and supporting small businesses. The All Decked Out Market fits this trend perfectly, highlighting how local events can create a sense of belonging, especially during the holiday season.
For those interested in experiencing this festive atmosphere, it’s a great chance to dive into local art and community connection this weekend.
