Experience the K-Food Craze! aT Boosts U.S. Exports at the 2025 K-Food Fair B2B in Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 20, 2025 — The Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation (aT) recently held the “2025 K-Food Fair B2B” at the Sheraton Cerritos Hotel in September. The fair aimed to promote Korean agri-food products and widen their reach in the United States.

From September 24 to 25, the event featured 43 Korean food companies and 77 U.S. buyers. It was a bustling hub for networking and business deals. Over two days, 415 meetings took place, leading to 11 memorandums of understanding (MOUs) worth about USD 9.8 million.

Key products that drew attention included traditional Korean alcoholic beverages and ready-to-eat meals, indicating a growing interest among U.S. retailers and importers.

Besides the main exhibition, various workshops and seminars were well-received. These included:

  • Market testing with local influencers,
  • Guidance on FDA regulations and customs compliance,
  • Workshops on entering the North American market.

Mr. Yu Tae Paik, Director of the aT Los Angeles Office, emphasized the significance of the U.S. as a key market. “The United States is the largest export market for K-Food. By linking K-Food to K-Content and lifestyle trends, we aim to forge new global opportunities,” he said.

Recent statistics show that the demand for Korean food in the U.S. continues to rise, with exports increasing by 20% over the last year alone. This trend reflects a wider fascination with Korean culture, driven by K-dramas and K-pop.

As K-Food popularity grows, aT plans to strengthen its B2B networks and foster partnerships with local distributors. The potential for Korean culinary delights in the U.S. market is vast and holds promise for future growth.
