Experience the Magic: Food, Music, and Scholarships Highlight ‘An Evening for ABAC’ – Moultrie Observer

TIFTON — Get ready for a fun-filled night at “The Luck of the Stallions,” part of An Evening for ABAC 2026. This exciting event is happening on February 28 at the Tifton Conference Center, with doors opening at 6 p.m.

Enjoy dinner, a lively auction, and dancing as Color the Night, a vibrant dual-vocal band, performs a mix of pop, rock, and soul music to keep the energy high. “The atmosphere is contagious. It’s a night to remember as the community comes together to support our students,” shares Lynda Fisher, director of alumni relations at ABAC.

Tickets are available for $150 for individuals and $275 for couples, with a portion being tax-deductible. To get your tickets, call 229-391-4895 or visit www.abac.edu/evening. Make sure to buy them by February 15!

The event gets a boost from generous sponsors like Colquitt Regional Medical Center, Southwell, and Georgia Farm Bureau. Their support is essential, with sponsorship options ranging from $2,500 up to $25,000. Each level helps fund scholarships for students, ensuring their academic dreams are supported.

Guests will have the chance to bid on items in both silent and live auctions. The silent auction begins online on February 25, featuring over 40 items. Proceeds from all auctions help provide scholarships, making a direct impact on students. More details can be found at www.abac.edu/evening.

This year’s event is even more special, with ABAC alumnus Cris A. Lawson creating a unique painting live during the evening. This masterpiece will blend a rare occurrence with a well-known ABAC symbol, adding a touch of artistry to the festivities.

The Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College Foundation has been committed to education since 1972. Their efforts have helped 55% of ABAC graduates finish college without student debt. This night isn’t just an event; it’s a chance to empower future generations.
