Experience the Magic of Greek Festival in Montgomery County: A Weekend of Flavor, Music, and Family Fun, September 5–7!

The Saints Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church in Cloverly/Silver Spring is gearing up for its annual Greek Festival from September 5 to September 7. This beloved event is a highlight of the season, filled with delicious food, lively music, and fun for everyone.

Festival hours are as follows: Friday from 4 PM to 9 PM, Saturday from 11 AM to 9 PM, and Sunday from 11 AM to 7 PM. Best of all, admission and parking are free!

Get ready to indulge in a variety of homemade Greek dishes. You can savor favorites like gyros and souvlaki, and don’t forget to try the loukoumades, those tasty fried honey puffs. This year features exciting twists on baklava: a classic version, a creamy baklava cheesecake, and even baklava ice cream.

Shoppers can explore local vendors selling groceries, jewelry, and crafts. Live Greek music will resonate throughout the festival, accompanied by traditional dance performances that bring Hellenic culture to life.

A highlight this year is the second annual Gyro Eating Contest hosted by Big Greek Cafe. Plus, there’s a chance to win a brand new 2025 Mercedes GLB or $30,000 in cash, thanks to a generous donation from Mercedes of Silver Spring.

The festival will happen rain or shine, with part of the proceeds supporting the Maryland Coalition of Families, which aids local families. With its mouthwatering food and vibrant atmosphere, this event promises to be unforgettable. Don’t miss out on a weekend filled with Greek tradition and hospitality!
