Heartfelt Romanticism
Join violinist Andrew Irvin, cellist David Gerstein, and pianist Jaeyeon Park for an evening of beautiful music at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in North Little Rock. They will perform Brahms’ Violin Sonata No. 3 and Smetana’s Piano Trio in G minor. The concert starts at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, and there’s no admission fee. After the performance, a reception will be held in the Parish Hall.
Candlelight Valentine
Enjoy a romantic evening at the “Candlelight: Valentine’s Day Special” event at the Albert Pike Masonic Center in Little Rock this Friday at 6:30 p.m. The Listeso String Quartet will play beloved love songs and movie soundtrack classics, including hits like “Unchained Melody” and “Can You Feel the Love Tonight.” Tickets range from $31.50 to $55.50.

Regalia and Resistance
The “Dress Up, Speak Up: Regalia and Resistance” exhibition opens on Saturday at the 21c Museum Hotel in Bentonville. It features 65 multimedia pieces from 35 global artists exploring identity through clothing and props. The opening reception runs from 6 to 8 p.m. and includes food and drinks, along with insights from Chief Curator Alice Gray Stites and artist April Bey. This exhibit will be available until December, and it’s free to visit any day of the year.
Jupiter Rising
The Symphony of Northwest Arkansas, led by Music Director Paul Haas, will perform “Jupiter Rising” at the Walton Arts Center in Fayetteville on February 16. The concert includes Mozart’s Symphony No. 41 and a Trombone Concerto featuring Cory Mixdorf. Ticket prices range from $37 to $62, with discounts for students and free admission for children under 18 when an adult ticket is purchased.

Award-winning Teachers
The National Federation of State High School Associations recently awarded 59 teachers, including two from Arkansas. David Stuart from Magnolia Public Schools received recognition as an Outstanding Music Educator, and Jessica Skordal from Bentonville West High School was honored for her contributions in speech and debate education.
Thea Scholarships
Thea Foundation in North Little Rock has awarded $219,000 in scholarships to talented Arkansas seniors in various art fields, focusing on this year’s theme of “Fluidity.” Notable winners include Isabella Nguyen and Mia Edwards. The competition encourages students to showcase their creativity, with applications for the next cycle due on January 11, 2026.
