K-Pop is making a splash in Hawaii! Taemin, a rising star in the K-Pop scene, will perform at the Neal Blaisdell Arena on March 22 at 7:30 p.m. This exciting show is part of his “Ephemeral Gaze 2024-25 World Tour” and marks his first-ever concert in Hawaii.
This event, organized by Rick Bartalini Presents, is also significant as it’s the first major K-Pop concert in the state since the genre became a global sensation. Fans can expect a night filled with Taemin’s hit songs, impressive dance moves, and a captivating stage presence.
For Hawaii fans, there’s an exclusive opportunity to get tickets early. A special online presale starts on January 23 at 11 a.m. HST and runs for just one day. The password for this presale is “MOVE,” and tickets will be available at Ticketmaster.com. After the presale ends at 11:59 a.m. HST on January 24, general sales will open at 1 p.m. on the same day. Note that tickets won’t be sold at the Blaisdell Box Office until noon on January 24.
Taemin is known for his smooth charisma and powerful vocals, elevating the K-Pop performance art. He rose to fame with his EP “ACE,” released in 2014, and continued to make waves with songs like “Press It” in 2016 and the genre-defining “Move” in 2017. His 2020 album, “Never Gonna Dance Again,” garnered critical acclaim, and his recent releases, like the EPs “Guilty” in 2023 and “ETERNAL” in 2024, showcase his growth as a solo artist and as a member of the group SHINee.
Fans are buzzing with excitement about this concert, and as Bartalini mentioned, this is just the beginning. He aims to bring more K-Pop events to Hawaii in the future, which is sure to thrill local fans.
