Shaquille O’Neal knows a thing or two about Super Bowl parties. However, he’s not always been impressed with what’s offered. He once said, “You pay a lot, wait in line, and you just find a crowd with loud music you can’t hear and drinks that are hard to get.”

After retiring, he decided to change that. He and some friends set out to create a true Super Bowl experience.
That vision became Shaq’s Fun House. Now in its seventh year, it’s a huge celebration that reflects his larger-than-life personality. This year is special because he returns to Louisiana, where he played at LSU from 1989 to 1992. Those years were pivotal for him, and he frequently visits to reconnect with his roots.
“Coming back to Louisiana feels like recharging my batteries,” Shaq explains. He enjoys attending LSU games, grabbing beignets in New Orleans, and relaxing with friends. “I want to share this experience with my Louisiana people,” he adds.
Shaq aims to make his party memorable with plenty of entertainment at a reasonable price. Shaq’s Fun House is a 21-and-over event happening on February 7, just two days before the Super Bowl. This year, it will be held at Mardi Gras World, promising a lively atmosphere reminiscent of Carnival.
The festivities kick off at 9 p.m., with tickets starting at $299.99. Some cheaper options sold out quickly, showcasing the high demand.
Each ticket provides access to a six-hour open bar featuring drinks from partners like Anheuser-Busch and cocktails from Pepsi and Gran Coramino Tequila. Guests can even enjoy Shaquille’s own Shaq-A-Licious XL Gummies.
Food will be served by well-known brands like Papa John’s and Häagen-Dazs. The entertainment includes thrilling carnival rides and a star-studded lineup featuring EDM artist John Summit, Grammy-winner Ludacris, and DJs Myles O’Neal and ERIE, along with Shaq himself spinning some tracks.
“This is the best music you’ll find all week,” Shaq promises. “Ludacris and John Summit performing the same night? That’s going to be incredible. It’s what makes Shaq’s Fun House so awesome.”
