Aukey’s new MagFusion Ark is an interesting take on wireless charging. This system features a base station with three Qi2.2 charging pads and spherical power banks that also have their own built-in Qi2.2 pads.
These spheres can do double duty—they can charge another device while resting on the base or be taken off for portable use. Each sphere has a 6,700mAh battery, allowing it to be powered through a USB-C port or used wirelessly.
While pricing for the MagFusion Ark will be revealed closer to its release in Q1 2026, it will be available in several configurations. You can choose a bundle that includes the base and spheres or opt for different setups with separate purchases. Both the base and spheres support wireless charging at speeds up to 25W.
One interesting aspect is how often these spheres can recharge your phone. It largely depends on your smartphone’s battery health. Typically, you could get at least one full charge or several smaller boosts.
Additionally, each sphere has a 30W USB-C port. This allows you to charge non-Qi devices more efficiently and even use the sphere as a charging stand. You can power two devices at the same time—one via the USB-C and another wirelessly—but keep in mind that charging speeds will drop slightly.
Aukey mentions that the MagFusion Ark has “six charging points.” However, you can only wirelessly charge three devices at a time on the base. If you’re using the spheres independently, you can free up the base pads for other gadgets. This setup has both strengths and limitations, particularly given the base’s size. It’s nice to have the flexibility of portable charging, even if it means some constraints.
Interestingly, wireless charging is gaining momentum. According to a recent survey by Statista, about 33% of smartphone users in the U.S. prefer wireless charging over wired options. This trend shows that options like the MagFusion Ark could become more popular, especially as tech innovation continues.
