Explore the Exciting 2026 Baseball Schedule Release: George Mason University’s Patriots Gear Up for an Unforgettable Season!

2026 George Mason Baseball Schedule Overview

Fairfax, Va. – The George Mason baseball team has revealed its 2026 schedule, featuring 55 games. This includes 24 matchups against Atlantic 10 Conference teams and 26 games at Spuhler Field. Notably, they will face three teams that participated in last year’s NCAA Regionals.

The season kicks off with an exciting four-game series against Oregon in Eugene, Oregon, running from February 13-15. Oregon claimed the 12th seed in last year’s NCAA Eugene Regional, setting the tone for a competitive start.

The Patriots have an important home opener against Towson on February 17. They will then travel to Charleston, S.C., to compete against Seton Hall, Ball State, and Merrimack on February 20-21.

The first homestand begins with a midweek game against William & Mary on February 24, followed by a three-game series against Lehigh from February 27 to March 1.

March is packed, with 18 games—10 at home and 8 away. The Patriots will alternate between home and away games over the next six contests, starting with a road matchup against James Madison on March 3. They will also face Georgetown, playing part of the series at Spuhler Field and another at Capital One Park in Tyson, Va.

Atlantic 10 play officially starts with a three-game series at home against St. Bonaventure from March 13-15. Following that, they will host Mount St. Mary’s in a midweek clash on March 18.

The road games ramp up as they take on last year’s Atlantic 10 Champion, Rhode Island, for their first A-10 road series from March 20-22. They’ll return home briefly to host Longwood on March 24 before heading to Saint Louis for a series March 27-29.

In March’s final week, the Patriots will kick off a four-game homestand with USC-Upstate on March 31. USC-Upstate clinched both the Big South regular season and tournament championships last season, adding to the competition.

As April rolls in, George Mason will play 16 games, equally split between home and away. They’ll first host Davidson from April 3-5 before heading to Towson for a midweek matchup on April 8. A series against Richmond follows from April 10-12.

The month will be challenging, with eight out of nine games on the road starting with Mount St. Mary’s (April 15) and a three-game series at Saint Joseph’s (April 17-19). The road swing continues to Fordham on April 24-26, concluding with a midweek match at Virginia on April 28.

In May, the Patriots have 10 games lined up, with six at home. They kick off this month hosting George Washington from May 1-3 and then travel to William & Mary on May 5 before facing Dayton from May 8-10. The regular season wraps up at home against La Salle from May 14-16.

The 2026 season includes six home-and-home series against Georgetown, Longwood, James Madison, Mount St. Mary’s, Towson, and William & Mary. George Mason will engage in 10 league series—five at home and five away.

Finally, the Atlantic 10 Baseball Championship is set for May 19-23 at Capital One Park in Tysons, Virginia. This promises to be an exciting culmination of the season, as teams battle for the championship title.
