Balance Changes
In update 1.13, we made changes to improve our weapons. Some players noticed a drop in fire rate for semi-automatic weapons. We’ve now fixed that issue and made additional tweaks to support better gameplay. This means players can be more responsive in combat without relying solely on skill.
Many of you pointed out that low-tier weapons were outperforming high-tier ones. We’re addressing this by adjusting the time-to-kill (TTK) stats for various weapons like the Stitcher, Kettle, Aphelion, and Jupiter. Our aim is to balance weapons while keeping gameplay exciting for skilled players.
Weapon Adjustments
- Stitcher: Reduced headshot damage multiplier and increased dispersion when firing full spray.
- Kettle: Lowered base damage to differentiate it from the Stitcher while keeping the headshot bonus intact.
- Venator: Still a powerhouse in PvP; we’re lowering overall damage to balance its effectiveness.
- Jupiter: Enhanced zoom for better accuracy at longer distances, plus quicker equip times.
- Aphelion: Made it more agile for a better PvP experience.
Bug Fixes and Improvements
- Fixed various animation glitches and issues with item interactions.
- Adjusted sounds for a smoother audio experience, especially on lower-end PCs.
- Combat performance has seen general enhancements.
Cheat Prevention Efforts
We’re stepping up our commitment to fair play. Our anti-cheat measures continually evolve, using gameplay data to find patterns of cheating behavior. Serious violations will lead to permanent bans, while others may receive temporary suspensions. We’re also enhancing our cheat detection systems to better protect our players.
Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to improve your gameplay experience!
