Exploring the Earth’s Environment in 2025: Insights and Challenges (Part 2)

Join us for an insightful presentation on the environment, led by Joe Houde, the president of the North County Climate Change Alliance. This is part two of a three-part series.

In this session, we’ll dive deeper into six planetary boundaries: biodiversity, freshwater, land systems, nutrient cycles, novel entities, and atmospheric aerosol loading. We’ll also discuss important concepts like “Tipping Points” and “Overshoot.” These topics are crucial for understanding our planet’s health and the challenges we face.

We’ll explore how these boundaries can guide us in taking meaningful actions. Our goal is to promote better health, a sustainable green economy, and social equity, all while working towards the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.

There will be plenty of time for questions at the end of the presentation, so come prepared to engage!

This event is free, but registration is required. After you register, you’ll receive a confirmation email with the link to join and any important updates.
