Chloë Ward, a nutritionist, highlights the importance of moderation. She suggests aiming for balance. It’s okay to indulge sometimes, but focusing on making better choices can support overall health. Ward encourages bringing along healthy snacks like nuts or avocados when heading to a drive-thru.

According to a study published in Public Health Nutrition, 85% of menu items at major fast-food chains are "ultra-processed." The researchers advocate for these restaurants to offer more minimally processed foods to support consumer health.
