The latest ticket sales phase, which started recently, allows fans to apply for specific matches through a random lottery. This is a shift from previous sales, where tickets were distributed without knowing which teams would qualify. The situation echoes past World Cups. In 1994, ticket prices in the U.S. ranged from $25 to $475. In Qatar in 2022, they were between $70 and $1,600.
