A man named Tiron Alexander, age 35, recently faced the law after pretending to be a flight attendant to score over 30 free flights. A federal jury in Southern Florida convicted him of wire fraud and unlawfully entering a secure area at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.

From 2015, Alexander worked for an airline based in Dallas. However, he was not a pilot or flight attendant. His deception took off around 2018, giving him access to free flights meant for airline staff. Authorities shared that he claimed to have worked for seven different airlines to get these perks.

In total, Alexander booked more than 100 flights using false credentials.
