A truck driver is facing serious charges after making an illegal U-turn that led to a deadly crash in Florida last week. Harjinder Singh, originally from India, has been charged with three counts of vehicular homicide and immigration violations. He was denied bond and is currently being held in St. Lucie County Jail.

The government claims Singh was living in the U.S. illegally and criticizes California’s policy of issuing driver’s licenses regardless of immigration status.
