Paige Shiver, who was the executive assistant to former University of Michigan football coach Sherrone Moore, has stepped down from her position. Her departure comes just a few months after a scandal involving Moore, who was fired in December for an inappropriate relationship with her.
After her contract expired, Shiver is no longer part of the Wolverines’ athletic department, according to a report from TMZ Sports. The 32-year-old’s salary increased significantly in the past year, jumping from $58,025 to $90,000, raising eyebrows as allegations about her affair with Moore surfaced.
Moore, who was the head coach for two seasons from 2024 to 2025, was removed from his position when credible evidence of the affair was found. Following his firing, he allegedly broke into Shiver’s home, threatening self-harm. According to prosecutors, he told her, “I’m going to kill myself. My blood is on your hands.”
Shiver’s attorney, Heidi Sharp, has claimed that Moore had a history of danger toward her, describing him as “very dangerous.” This kind of domestic violence is alarming and reflects a larger issue.
